Summit calls itself the Hill City. It has a busy downtown and train station, the Reeves-Reed Arboretum, and neighborhoods of big Victorians, Tudors and colonials under old trees.
Those houses are usually being renovated in pieces. A kitchen one year, a primary suite the next. We keep a plan for the whole house so the light stays consistent, using period-style fixtures where you’ll see them and modern light where you won’t.
Downtown, we light shops, restaurants and offices. At home, facades, gardens and paths get warm, low light that suits the older streets.
