Cranbury’s old village runs along Main Street to Brainerd Lake, and much of it is a protected historic district. Houses, churches and shops from the 1700s and 1800s line the street.
In those houses, the original trim, plaster and wide-plank floors are the point. We keep the light warm and low-glare and let it fall on the wood. Out past the village, where farmland meets newer neighborhoods, the job is usually a full plan for a kitchen, family room or basement.
On Main Street, a lantern by the door looks right and a floodlight doesn’t. Farther out, farm views are worth keeping, so landscape light stays shielded. We also light offices, shops and warehouses around the township.

Cranbury FAQ
Can lighting in a historic-district home stay true to its period?
Yes. We choose fixtures whose style and size fit the house, and hide anything modern. If exterior changes go through historic review, we can supply fixture details.
Do you design lighting for warehouses and industrial buildings?
Yes. We aim for even light, low power use and controls that turn it off when nobody’s there.
Is Plainsboro or South Brunswick within your area?
Yes, both.
